Welcome to the November 15th “special” edition of the google wave blog.
Kevin presents Trying Google Wave posted at Google Wave Extensions.
After some testing, trying and tinkering with Google Wave I think I have a bit of an idea how Google Wave works. To me it still feels like a big ‘free for all’ chat room with conversations that are always open. I am currently participating in a Wave with over 30 people, which is fun… but crowded.

Also from John Lombaerde at his Web Site Promotion blog:
So what is all the excitement about ? Is it a bird, a plane ? Is it e-mail ? Is it chat ? Is it a blog ? Is it multi-media ? Is it a real-time language translator ? Yes, in answer to all of the above questions. It seems that Google Wave has gadgets, robots, tigers, and bears, oh my !
Google Wave apparently, is a hosted, collaborative, real-time, multi-media, conversation between users that belong to the same wave group. This is e-mail and chat, mutimedia, all in one, and much more.
This was the biggest product launch by Google in the last 10 years, or more, so it’s no surprise it made the front page of cnn.com. Not too shabby for a software release, even if it is Google. It has set off a flurry of texts, tweets, news articles, blogs, and general buzz across the Internet.

From John Lombaerde: I want to send a big personal thank you to the folks at FriedBeef’s Tech for their Google Wave invitation. I hope to make very good use of it. I will certainly keep the readers of this blog informed about my experience.
Thanks again FriedBeef’s Tech !
That concludes this edition.

Quite detailed for such short post, well done indeed. I’m just curious if the wave extensions featured by firefox are also good. Hmmm…
